    98 Masuer sigth adjustment?

I need some help from you Mauser experts. I just replaced the barrel on a 98 mauser and it's printing groups too far to the right. I've adjusted the front sight blade over to compensate but it just doesn't look right drifted so far to one side. So how do you make adjustment for windage on a set of standard military sights on a 98 mauser?

Did you index the barrel correctly?

I believe so. At least the rear sight base and the action are both in alignment using a spirit level.

I have about 20 K98's and only have shot 4 of them, 3 shot to the left, despite the fact front sight is spiked in place as it was originally. That was with original WW11 german ammo. There is really nothing you can do, make sure you are not 'canting' the rifle.
