    Mauser Stock Identification

I'm trying to identify this Mauser stock in the pics. It is solid walnut. When it has a K98 in it, there is a gap by the receiver ring (the stock inletting is about 1/4" longer than the K98 receiver ring).

Are you sure the action you're using to check it isn't an Intermediate Large Ring 98 action?

Hoosier Gun Works, Dealing in gun parts, 100000 gun parts, 2000 gun stocks, 1000 magazines, 500 barrels. Enfield and Mauser. Military and comercial.

I posted these pics on another forum. One guys says the stock is from an FN Mauser, but the hand guard is wrong (off of a German Mauser), especially the location of the SN on the stock above the stock bolt. I googled that and found that the FN Mauser Model 1930 certainly looks like the stock. The color tone is even right.

Many FN mausers had the serial in that place.
