can you tell me the measurements for a G33/40 sight hood? thanks

I was under the kool-aid that it's a standard Borno licht rifle hood. When I had mine ( aMM bitser) I used the MP44/G43 hood and still have one on my M48 light rifle. The taller hood gives a great sight picture.

g33/40 sight hood
The measurement on my original g33/40 is .628. This is much shorter than a 98k hood .788. It's not common to find the correct hood on these rifles. Most of the time someone will stick a 98k hood on them. The cleaning rod is also unique to this rifle. It is 10 7/8'' and has a taper just behind the jag. Again most rifles you come across will have a stsndard 98k rod with no taper.Comment
