Mike in New Mexico. Missed both of your calls. Outside getting ready for the weed season. Leave me a phone number or e-mail address. Have had no luck finding any one else who bought one or both of his fun gun conversions. Have dial up so must stay off of the computer while on the phone. On stand-by.

Mike. Didn't realize it but I have been a member of Mauser Central for several years. Have tried every suggestion offered. Waiting for your 8AM MST call.

Plan B. I worked on my gun last evening but to no avail. I can mentally see the design but can not get any one to work with me. I spoke with several machinest in my area and their comments were. Forget it, it ain't worth what it will cost, etc, etc. Plan C will begin tonight.

The Rhineland you found is not the same Rhineland that made their Mauser conversions. Have spoken with them and all thay could offer was "good luck" but all we have ever offered was a SMLE. I Ask them about the SMLE that the original Rhineland offered and they claimed no knowledge of ever ever undertaking such a project. Going to see a another machinest this evening. Maybe I can talk him into taking on a design/build for me. It's such a small piece causing all of this grief. I appreciate your effort on my behalf. I'll put the WinMag back in the corner for now and drag out the .45ACP conversion. All it needs is some tweeking to the mag lips and final dressing up to make it look pretty, then to get the grandson in to do the photo work.

Plan C-1. Re-visited the Rhineland Arms address you provided with the same results. They only modify the Lee Enfield for .45ACP and know nothing about the Mauser mod. Thanks anyway. Wonder what a single shot would be like ?
