    Holster question

    This photo is from a Gunboards forum. This holster has a snap closure, something I've only seen on web holsters. Any comments?

      Not Model 1916 military. Probably aftermarket.

          The US is stamped into the leather, on oblong circle around it. Should be enbose or raised letters with the circle. Not US unless an extremely rare one. Maker should be stamped on back along with date.
          You can never go home again.
