Did you know that funny looking helmet the East Germans used was actually developed at the end of WW2 by the Wehrmacht and may have been issued had the War continued...

I had always assumed it was Russian-inspired by their occupation of East Germany.

I believed the same things.

Then 2 months ago, I found a helmet at a antique shop and asked about it. The owner said it was late war German. I thought She was wrong. Looked at Ebay and realized I was wrong. By the time I got back to her storage unit, She had sold it to a guy on a Harley. The Lord tried to give to me but I fought back.
