Anybody familiar with this 1907 sling

I recently acquired an Enfield No 4 and it had a nice, old sling on it. It is well made, an inch wide and standard length. It was made by Brauer Bros of St Louis and is so marked. I know that company still makes holsters and other leather goods. Does anyone have any info on slings made by this company, I can find none thus far. Were these ever used by the US military...
Any info would be appreciated.

If it is an inch wide, it is not a U.S. military. The U.S. military slings were 1 1/4 inches wide.

Brauer Bros. did have U.S. military contracts, especially for Vietnam era holsters, and are still in business as far as I know.
