I have had this for some time and cannot figure out what it is. The person who gave it to me said it was a case for machine gun mags, but that person is not into guns, and I think they are wrong. It is made of very thick leather. It has a metal frame inside that divides it into for rectangular compartments and is padded at the bottom. It has no markings on it at all that I can find. Any ideas?

I would think it is a case for Machine gun magazines. I have a similar case for my Bren gun magazines, but no idea what gun your case is for. -

Madsen would be my guess. Seem to recall seeing one like that for Madsen mgs.Comment

Only Ebay or Gunbroker can tell you that in a broad sense. Do a search and watch any you find listed. See what they sell for. There was a period of time several years ago that a lot of Danish,Swedish,Swiss militaria like this came in,there is a lot of it floating around.IMA at one time had a lot of it,they were selling that pouch w/magazines for $125.The pouch by itself I would guess in the $30 + or - range.There are not a lot of Madsen collectors around.A man with a sword may talk of peace.A man with out a sword may talk of peace,but he must talk very fast indeed.Comment
