    Can anyone identify the medal on this WWI German ribbon bar?

    This is from a picture of taken during WWI of a Saxon Artilleryman.

    Hi. Picture is not clear enough. The colours would matter too. There's a 'Long Service' ribbon that sort of looks like it here. GMRB-025 about 1/4 of the way down. http://www.snyderstreasures.com/page...ns.htm#ribbons

      the one on the right looks like Iron cross second class, w/ device for possible subsequent award. Not sure of left ribbon

        Does look a bit like an IC 2 ribbon, But unlike the US valor awards, there was no such thing as a subsequent award for either the 1. or 2. Klass IC. Thus not sure what the ribbon actualy is or what the emblem on it is.
        I would help if the photo was of a size larger than super small!

          It is a scan of an old picture of my wife's grandfather (Feldartillerie Regiment Nr. 64). I can't get any additional detail from the image. I know he did receive the IC 2.
