    German style ammo holder?

I aquired a German style ammo holder that has some markings on it and I'd like to identify it?
It was originally tan leather now stained black. It is the three compartment type with the brass D ring for suspender attachment.
On the back it is stamped in about 1/2" high script letters "RBH". Under that are some numbers. I can see ??0850??.
Just wondering if it might be real or a repo?
    Thanks

I am surprised there is no input on this one?
Anyway, I made ir to a gun show since posting. It seems to be the opinion of a couple fellas that I know there that it is WWI German, but dyed black, probably for WWII use?
    I dont really know.

The natural leather was dyed black on ALL WW 2 German leather goods from about 1941 on. Your ammo pouch was made in 1942 or later because the RB Nr marks first showed up on some things in 1942.
