Remington 870 Navy Riot Shotgun ?

IMG_3172.jpg"Disclaimer " This shot gun has the possable
Problems: wrong stock , assembled by some one , wrong finish,
Undocumented , definitely not military, in short a terrible excuse for a shotgun.
But it sorta looks like a Remington 870
Navy Riot Gun. Some viewers may enjoy.
    Comments are welcome.IMG_3184.jpgIMG_3167.jpgIMG_3184.jpgIMG_3165.jpg

I would enjoy seeing pictures of your 870
If you could post them. Thats pretty nice
To have the us property stamped on it.
I bought a bunch of guns about 30 years ago.
A lot of them had TVA engraved on them.
This one did not. In the lot I got 4 870's
With this Odd ball one. They were in a big
          Cardbord box at the auction.

This is the type of marks on several of the
            Shotguns .

TVA was known to have rebuilt WWII M12 trench guns, many of which were converted riots.
However, the 870 is obviously way more modern and probably an Agency purchase.
Ownership by TVA does not absolutely indicate military provenance.

I do agree with you on this. I have 4 additional
870's that came with this group and none appear to be military.
I also got a US marked M12 Riot and a
                Remington m11...pretty sure there military
They have the US marking and the M11 has us and
                TVA aftermarket marks.
                Thanks for the comments!
