Trench Shotguns

I've never posted but appreciate all of the discussions that offer insights into what is real and what has been altered or faked. I pulled my collection out to wipe down and log some serial numbers, and decided to share a photo of my trench shotguns. This is a work in progress and I'm happy to share additional photos/info. Looking for a Remington M10 and Ithaca 37 if anyone knows where to find one.

A Remington Model 10 was sold recently on GB for $6225, which really isn't a bad price considering how few there are. Seller is a member here on CSP.

Thank you. I cannot believe I missed this one. I monitor GB frequently. I found one but the seller asked for $20K; not in my price range. I'm a sucker for trench guns though.

That would be me. I still have the one on top (see pic). I used the handguard from the top "SG" as a pattern for the handguard on the bottom "SG".
It took me 5 or 6 attempts to finally get it right. I have since made 5 others, sold 3 and have 2 left. Each one by hand. Very, verrrry labor intensive project. Averaging about 25 hours each. Including the front and rear bands.

What's a fair price for a non numbers matching M10 trench with a repo handguard and poor finish?

Just three questions at the end. Just paid not much for this http://www.gunbroker.com/item/586509694 , less than the last 10-A I bought for parts. It arrived today, and the photos do not do the rust any justice, there is a lot of it. The question is this, I bought this one based on two things the holes for the screws to hold the heat shield, and what looked like the magazine lever had the appropriate 2 screws in it. Right now it is at the gunsmith getting the poly choke taken off, so I cannot post any photos but, what is good about it is receiver and barrel numbers match and are in the proper range, it does have the appropriate holes for the heat shield screws, the magazine lever has both screws, the stock has been filled in where the rear sling swivel was, and it does have the circular indentation under the barrel for the screw from the bottom, (it is a 10-A that is 23" long), but it is lacking the ordnance stamp on the receiver.

Were there ever any civilian versions of the model 10 trench produced, and should there be the notches for the bayonet attachment like the Stevens 520/620's and Winchester 12/97's have, and I have not taken it or my model 10 riot gun apart to look but do they stamp the serial numbers on the model 10's stock like Stevens did?
