Ithaca riot gun wwii should have matching barrel to reciever?

Hello looking at riot gun with 5 digit serial number. us property marked but barrel does not match reciever ? also has checkered stock and game scene on reciever. Thank peter

The numbers should match. Game scene and checkered wood is OK.

Need to know the serial number and see a photo of the markings to tell if it is original.

1k to much for this gun ? Will try and get picture this morning and serial numbers. Thanks for reply Peter

RLB is NOT an original riot. It is a cut down 30"

Mismatched Ithacas are unsafe to fire.

Do yourself a favor and run away. Gun is not worth having.
