Dates to 1913/14. The military wasn't buying much of anything at that time.

Agree. That would fall between the Philippines procurements and the WWI procurements. The only thing I could think of was a local hardware store purchase order.

I have a Winchester 1897 Serial nbr 948565, Take down model Cylinder bore 18 or 20 inch barrel. not sure son has it at the moment. Any information would be appreciated,
