Nice thanks for sharing. May I ask where you found that? Gun show, internet, auction? What is that worth? I have never seen one and really like the look.

I have a dealer that deals in trench guns and he emails me a list every couple months.
Value is tough. Cowan's sold one last year for nearly $7000

Be careful on the this, if it is one of the ones that came out of a MAINE PD then the DOD is looking for them. They want them back. The serial #'s are listed in Canfields book. They are still DOD property. I had one and had to return it.

I heard about that as well. A bunch of these got sold out of a gun shop in NH, and I always wondered if the folks that owned them got their money back when they had to 'return' them to the govt.?

Yes,the gun shop refunded all monies.
                They never pursued the rest.
All because someone posted full serial number on gun broker which is a no no these days..

Our sheriff's department received 14 M 14 rifles,22 M16 A1 rifles, 30 1911A1 pistols, a signifigant order of 11" barrel, suppressed, flat top M16 uppers with AimPoints, a full military Humvee and several other items from the DOD & the office of surplus property of the state of Missouri........ it was made plain to all, that none of these could be sold...................

I suspect that the original Maine PD figured no one from the DOD would ever find out or check on their weapons/acquisitions.....when all the liberals raised heck about this program after the officer in Ferguson, Mo. had to shoot the strong armed robber......... my guess is that a senior staff member who is extremely anti police/Law Enforcement at the White House, ordered the leadership/commander of the DOD LEO assistance program to check the location of on every weapon & and items given out under the program.............
