These markings are on a Stevens 77C. Is this a total fake or VN-era commercial gun made into a military riot?

Well , GHD was a WW2 inspector , 42-45 , in the district that included Winchester and Colt . Does that give you a big hint ?

And they were not using the Ordnance bomb during the Viet Nam era.

I didn't think about inspectors. Looks like someone went to a lot of trouble to make something obviously a fake. But since it will probably sell for under $200....
