Gentlemen, I am seeking an opinion, because I am in need of cash...my well has run dry in Northern NH, and 2 estimates have the cost at about $18000 to drill a new well. An option I have is a correct Stevens Model 620 Trench shotgun #258xx, about 90%. With it I have the correct 1917 bayonet & scabbard, which has DOD documentation. I have a broken wrist, so photos will be a real chore (hence the need for opinions), but is it worth the time and effort to try and sell for no less than $5200. Thanks to all for your input

It would have to be awfully nice...but it could be."There's a race of men that don't fit in,
A race that can't stay still;
So they break the hearts of kith and kin,
And they roam the world at will." - Robert Service -
Thank you sir, with that, it seems that I will keep it. The hassle for only "just possible", rather than a slam dunk would not be worth it...one armed at this time is very trying, a heart attack last fall has made the "golden years" anything but.Comment

If it went on gunbroker with nice CLEAR pictures all numbers matching with pics of all the numbers stock, receiver, barrel grouping. Then it might clear 3500 to 4000 but to get to 5000+ is hard to do and really limits how many collectors are playing in that price range. Just my opinion. Good luck which ever way you go. Remember if you decide you want another one later can you replace it for what you sell it for?Comment
