Winchester 97 barredl lngths

What are the barrel lenths of the Win 97 Riot gun and the trench gun? ATF method, from bolt face to muzzle. Thanks for any info.

I am not sure, 18"? but 'bolt face to muzzle' is not the ATF method, altho they use it. It has been standard practice to measure barrels that way for longer then I can remember, which is a long time! 18" used to be the legal limit until the DCM wanted to sell M1 carbines to NRA members, then the limit was lowered. Early Swed. 94 carbines imported were 17+" and an extension was added at barrel end to make them legal. Later imports were ok w/o the extension!

Mine measures 20.125". Not a trench but a riot built around 1929 or 1930.
