    USGI Stevens 77E Production dates

Does anyone happen to know the contract production dates/years for USGI Stevens 77E riot guns? How about by serial number range also?

I'm not aware of any production tables for the 77E. But they were made around 1963, give or take a year.

Do you know serial numbers, or serial number ranges for these contracts?

I will have to look through the records to check the serial number range. The lowest number I have recorded is 9644 the highest I have recorded is 61898.there where two guns available from DRMS in 1985 to law enforcement those numbers were 2400 & 2401 they where available from NWSC.

Were the Stevens 69 series of 12 gauge shotguns ever part of a 60's government contract?

That would make them all C&R now!

IIRC, they were already on the C&R list before they were 50 years old.
