    WW1 Rem m10 riot sg

    What type of finish (both wood & metal parts) was used on these?
    Recently found this one at a gun show in up-state NY. Matching ser#"s U159018., US w/ordnance bomb top of barrel (20"). The gundealer told me he took it in from a retired NYPD officer. Had it in his car for 30 yrs. and never really touched it. I understand that "you buy the gun not the story", and for $325.00 + $22.00 tax, I bought the gun.

    Blued and varnish.
    From memory, it is in the right serial# range. Nice find, they are very very rare.

          One heck of a good buy regardless...let's see some pictures of the bomb.
          "There's a race of men that don't fit in,
          A race that can't stay still;
          So they break the hearts of kith and kin,
          And they roam the world at will." - Robert Service
