      unfortunately I think you are mistaken scosgt. Leading up to WW2 Panama was referred to as the "canal zone", . I know this for a fact because my father was station at Fort Kobbe CZ and Fort Sherman CZ from 1939 till early 1942 from there he was re-assigned to Fort Sam Warren Wyoming I think it was. From there he spent the duration of the war chasing krauts across Europe.
      I have several of his photo albums and tons of paperwork to boot.

        OD = Ordinance District. It was common usage.

        So if you can find another OD that was "PA" go for it.
