High Power Rule Clarification- Excessive hits greater than 11

If I am not mistaken, when a competitor's target has 12 or more hits in a rapid fire string he or she may 1) choose to refire, or 2) accept the low 10 score.

It is clear that the competitor will not see the shot spotters before making the decision for option 1 or 2. However, is the competitor notified of what the low 10 score value is prior to their decision?

    Thanks!

Yes, the total score of the low ten is written on the scoreboard then the target is brought to half-mast (see NRA Rule 14.13(2))

Don't forget in CMP Games (a form of high power competition) the shooter gets the high 10 and the match moves on (see CMP Rule 19.1.13)
