Maury's standing tips work! Shot an M1 carbine match today

I have a Winchester carbine in A-1 condition and put it through it's paces today. Due to my stupidity I cranked the windage knob the wrong way and wasted three precious slow fire prone shots getting back to the black. One of Palo Alto's members showed up, Mr. Mol. His prone scores were amazing.

    Slow prone 72
    Rapid prone 86
    Rapid sitting 78
    Slow standing 75

    Total 311

That's the best standing score I've ever had. It broke down into 10's (2), 9's (3), 8's (1), 7's (2), 6's (1), and one big fat miss that didn't even hit the paper! Eh well, I'm comforted by the fact half my rounds were 10's and 9's.

I can't wait to head South in two weeks!

I'm glad I could help but you're still the one who actually shot the shots so if there's any credit to be had it's all yours

Now the question is "Were all your shots on call?"

If they weren't was it you or was it the carbine?

If they were then all you have to do next time is do what you did when they were 10s and don't do what you did when they were anything else
