    Ammo stand I built

I built it over the weekend. I wanted to experiment with laminating different woods together. The bottom is ipe (very heavy), maple and topped with walnut. The finish is oil based urethane. It will hold 22 - 30-06 rounds nose down. for easy loading. I'll take another pic when the finish is dry and I can put some rounds in.

I routered some finger groove in the sides.

Drill templae using some graphics software.

    Holes drilled.

    After first coat of finish.

One beautiful piece of wood and the cartridges are just icing on the cake. I'm going to make one of those before you patent it!!!!!!

Looks great. I bet you could eat off the floor of your loading room.
