M84 scope and mount orig or not

Hi I have what I'm sure is an original m84 scope and mount.
I was told it wasn't. It came from the cmp with an mid garand.

The scope looks original to me. The mount I don't know enough about to say. Did you ask on the Garand forum? Some might think the mount isn't original because it looks so new, but CMP would have access to new old stock.
