    Recent Colt 1909 sale

    If you have Colt 1909s in your collection this should make you feel good. I was thinking $1,750 tops, boy am I out of touch.

          Find a Colt New Service in .45 Colt,same thing sans the government markings.

            I sure would not turn my nose up at a New Service, but I reckon I will have more of a chance at a 1917 to go with my S&W.

              That one is .45 Colt caliber, not .45 ACP. Much rarer gun.

                I picked up a beater the other day. Not much finish and a little corrosion. Still, the bore is perfect and it locks up like it should. All the marking are there and the grips match, just a case of poor storage.
