Any wat to date H&R revelvolers?

I have a couple of .22 rim fire H&R revolvers. The last pat date is Apr 7 96 and the other has no pat date. The blue one is hammerless and the nickel is single or double action. S/N' is 1028X and the other has no S/N. Bores are real good, lock up pretty tight and the price was better than good. Is there a WAG as to when these were made?

Most likely about the turn of the century so about 1900 + or - a few years. I don't think there is anyway to date them closely. They made them for a long time and used to sell about 1904 in the Sears catalogue for a whole $1.19 brand new in the box.
