I usually drive around in my white Ford F-150. Well, a couple weeks back I went to Costco to do some shopping. The wife asked me to take her silver Honda so that I could get it gassed up while shopping. After I got the gas, I parked in front of the store in one of those handicapped spots and entered the store. I was probably only in the store for 30-45 minutes. After I got my stuff paid for and exited the store, I could not for the life of me find my truck and began to panic. Thought for sure it had either been stolen or towed away. Now what the hell was I going to do? Had a shopping basket with a bunch of frozen items in it and couldn't call anybody because my cell phone was left in the vehicle. For some reason, I then reached for the keys in my pocket and realized my truck was safely back home in the driveway and the wife's Honda was right where I left it in the handicapped parking space in front of Costco. Boy.......did I ever feel dumb and embarrased? Did I tell my wife about the experience? Hell no!

A few years ago I found a 15-22 at Walmart at a very good price. I remembered to go back w/ my money. I remembered to make sure my drivers license was in the wallet. I bought the rifle. They of course did the obligatory walk out with me. When we got outside, I just couldn't find my car. The parking lot was jam packed with cars/trucks. Finally I stood in the back of a pickup truck and caught sight of my car. It was about 30 foot away. So glad my wife was not there. I'd never have heard the last of it. Sincerely. bruce.

Probably a good thing that the owner of that pickup truck wasn't around either. He probably wouldn't been happy about you using his truck for a look-out station.

Yeah , and driving down the road and looking around and wondering , where the hell am I ? And where the hell was I going .
And medication , now that can be an eye opener . A few years ago I got released from the hospital from a pretty nasty heart attack , it was the beginning of rifle season for deer . Was busting to go , wasn't sure I was up to it , but had to go . Got the rifle and headed up into the mountains , was driving , when I realized something wasn't right . Stopped , looked around trying to figure out where the hell I was , turned around and started back the opposite direction , soon came to a bridge I recognized and realized I had drove by my turn . Made the turn , thinking this might not have been such a good idea . Got to my buddies prosperity and parked , it was just getting light . Got out and slowly walked up the slight grade to the gate , thinking hotdamn this is some bright frost . Went through the gate and looked up the holler , thinking I probably shouldn't walk a lot farther again noticing how bright and sparkling the frost was . At this point I am getting some serious doubts about this , then I see something loping down the holler toward me . Watching it , remaining very still , it appeared to be a deer . I remember thinking , wonder if anybody is home to help me get the dang thing back to the truck . What the hell , might take a spell but I'll get it . It kept coming , remember thinking , well at least it has been an easy hunt . Just as i was about to raise the rifle , something still didn't seem quite right , it ran up a damned tree . What the hell ? That wasn't no damned deer , nervously laughed at myself and cautiously unloaded the rifle and got my dumb ass out of there . I was in no shape to be walking around or actually driving for that matter , but made it home and put the rifle away and stayed home for a week or so . Few weeks later I went up and checked my game cam , found some pictures of an unusually big bobcat on the camera , only thing I could figure was between the effects of the heart attack and drugs they had me on everything was distorted and the bobcat would explain the deer running up the tree . LOL. .
