    New monumental Supreme court case.

This one is a head scratcher. The neighbors reported a large and very loud party going on in a empty house including alcohol, marijuana, and stripping. A check with the owner revealed that there was not supposed to be anybody in the house. When the cops arrived most of the party goers ran away and the police arrested the ones that stayed behind.

The question in the case is, did the police have probable cause? The libs are arguing that the "guests," had been invited and that invitation by a unknown person gave them the right to be there. The guests didn't know the unknown person that invited them didn't have that right so they were not breaking the law by being there.

If the libs get their way, all the partiers would have to do is put it on the grapevine that a party was going to be at "Joe's house" and a address. Somebody's vacant rental house gets destroyed and there is no crime???

The ruling could set a much more dangerous precedent. Trespass laws would essentially be thrown off the books.

Defendant: "Honest Judge, Wanda told me I could hunt there."

    Judge: "Who is Wanda?"

Defendant: "Oh, I don't know, your honor. Just a lady that a friend of mine and I had a couple of drinks with at the bar last week. We were talking about the big deer on Joe's Farm and she said 'it's OK, You have my invitation to hunt on Joe's place anytime.'"

Judge: "Okay! That's different you were hunting with permission. Case dismissed.

The fact a case like this made it all the way to the SC says a lot about the direction this country is going in.

yup, right down the crapper . all because some people will not stand up for right! lets be serious, no one other than the owner of the property has any right to invite anyone else into the home. so and so invited me isnt a legit invitation!

Reminds me of the "some Dude" defense. Guy gets caught driving a stolen car. The "ignition key" is a screwdriver.

"Honest, officer, some Dude said the car was his and that I could drive it. I don't know his name, but we're good friends. When I got done, I was just supposed to leave it at the train station parking lot. Honest!"
