They will also allow them to attain Eagle rank. I have read many articles about the "feminization of America." Here is another crazy step in the same direction.
Boy Scouts Will Now Admit Girls!

Are there still cookies?"The first gun that was fired at Fort Sumter sounded the death-knell of slavery. They who fired it were the greatest practical abolitionists this nation has produced." ~BG D. Ullman -
It is all about what the fems are up to and the Boy Scouts are just prepping the battlefield for what is bound to happen. They are about to be towed through a minefield and the girls are going to get in no matter what they do. They will never allow boys in the girl scouts but the other way round is fair in their book.
Actually, I would have liked camping out with girls when I was 14 or 15 and in the Scouts.Comment

I asked my wife's opinion on this and her comment was, "Pregnancy camp". My wife is usually right, this is a bad idea.

Then let it die a natural death--a tragic end to such a great & historic organization, but better by far than dragging it down into shame with the sodomites, and absurdity with the "girls." The BSA bureaucracy is more concerned with preserving their jobs than preserving the standards & purpose of BSA.Comment

OK, here is my take on this. When my son was young there was a drive going on at his school to become a Cub Scout. They painted a very pretty picture of the scouts getting to go horseback riding, taking canoe trips, camping, fishing, you name it. I took him to the meeting where they did the recruiting. The man that was there was a very nice elderly gentleman that asked me to be a Cub Master for the area and w/o me taking the position they couldn't take in any additional kids to be scouts so I agreed. The area council offices for both the boy and girl scouts are located in Mobile, a 50 mile round trip for me. I found out that I had to pay them (though not much) for liability insurance for me being a "leader" and subject to all kinds of lawsuits. They provide ABSOLUTELY nothing in the way of activities. Me and all the kids had to buy our uniforms, badges, literature/booklets and awards from them. They pressure the leaders to sell their overpriced popcorn and other items that they get a tremendous cut off of. Back then girl scout cookies ran $2.00 a box and the girls only made 15 cents a box while their parents had to provide all the transportation of selling and delivery so if you donated the $2.00 it would be like them selling a dozen boxes. When I asked them about selling donuts and collecting aluminum cans to raise money for the scouts they had no interest and didn't even want to talk about it. I just happened to know people involved in the town activities that gave me keys to some of the municipal buildings so we could hold meetings and have a place to do projects and activities. We raised money on our own (collected cans) and rented an overnight stay on the USS Alabama battleship. Some of the adults had nice utility trailers that we used in local parades and we had many other events for the kids. There was just me and 2 helpers, over time they kept adding more and more scouts. The helpers were down to one and I was overloaded. I told them that if they recruited any more that they would have to recruit help as well. They promised they would---they didn't, so I dropped out along with my last helper. The kids weren't cut off, they merely merged with the scouts in the next nearby town which no doubt became overloaded as well.
My point: It is not up to the Boy/Girl Scout organization to make all the rules. If they say queer and trans kids can join it doesn't mean a thing if the scout master doesn't want to play their games, they are just volunteers and don't have to take any sht at all. W/O these volunteers there would be no scouts, just a money grabbing council. Scouting is usually and still can be a good thing for the kids but it is strictly up to the men and women who donate their time, money and efforts to make it what it is.Last edited by Allen; 10-12-2017, 08:29.Comment

I think you are right on this one. As a former Scout it pains me to see this happen. I know scouting has changed since the 70's but young men really haven't. What is going to happen if when the guys piss on the closet tree in the morning or start lighting farts? Then let it die a natural death--a tragic end to such a great & historic organization, but better by far than dragging it down into shame with the sodomites, and absurdity with the "girls."
