During an appearance on Howard Stern’s radio program yesterday, producer Harvey Weinstein announced an upcoming “big movie” starring Meryl Streep that will make the National Rifle Association “wish they weren’t alive.”

“I don’t think we need guns in this country,” Weinstein told Stern. “And I hate it. I think the NRA is a disaster area.”

Weinstein claims the film will be a “big movie like a ‘Mr. Smith Goes to Washington.’” And he is confident gun sales will plummet.
“Gun stocks — I don’t want to be involved in that stuff,” he said. “It’s going to be like crash and burn.”

His self imposed rehab is just that, when he thinks things have quited down, he will pronounce himself cured and check himself out.

Now, if the rtehab was court ordered, he couldn't get out until competent medical help (or one with a low bank balance) pronounced him 'cured'.
