British reporter tipped off before JFK assassination

What a crock! As Judge Judy says, "If it don't make sense, it is not true."

What possible reason could there be for this call? Some unknown reporter in Britain gets a tip that says call the American embassy for some big news 20m minutes before the shooting. But, the American embassy in London likely got the news of the assassination the same way we all did... from Walter Cronkite. He was on the air reporting on the shooting within minutes. Why would the reporter need to call the embassy? What could be the purpose behind the call? All the reporter needed to do was to turn on a radio or TV. If the purpose was to prove a conspiracy existed, why didn't the caller call the embassy? It doesn't make sense…

A senior reporter at a British newspaper received an anonymous phone call prior to President John F. Kennedy’s assassination, alerting the reporter to “some big news” about 25 minutes in advance, according to a CIA file released Thursday.
