A competent IRS agent could probably have handled this.

They didn't have to. In the opening statements they used the words 'nominee' and 'campaign'. They also used the names 'Russia' and 'United States'. Context and relevance matter none. That's all the left wing Twitter-Face idiots need to connect dots and draw their own picture.2016 Chicago Cubs. MLB Champions!

The Papdopoulos plea deserves more attention than it is getting. It's completely independent of the Manafort money laundering his gains from serving Russian interests, and it shows Trump campaign people knowingly reaching out to Russians for campaign advantage ("the Professor" being the foreign contact).
"In truth and in fact, however, and as set forth above, defendant PAPADOPOULOS met the Professor for the first time on or about March 14, 2016, after defendant PAPADOPOULOS had already learned he would be a foreign policy advisor for the Campaign; the Professor showed interest in defendant PAPADOPOULOS only after learning of his role on the Campaign; and the Professor told defendant PAPADOPOULOS about the Russians possessing" dirt" on then-candidate Clinton in late April 2016, more than a month after defendant PAPADOPOULOS had joined the Campaign."
Meanwhile, the administration has so far not acted on the recent Russian Sanctions legislation. Is it incompetence or malign neglect? Red will tell us.Comment

But again, these are INDICTMENTS not CONVICTIONS. I was a Grand Jury Forman once, the judge explained our job was not to convict but to see if the law and evidence were close in nature. The person coming before the Jury had to give the state law broken and the reason why an indictment was requested. Not all that we looked at were indicted as "we" did not reason the law was "probably" violated. Our state, at that time, required a 3/4 open vote to indict. I could NOT ask why the person they voted that way, they could volunteer their reason why. @ trial will come their guilt or innocence. Is Trump guilty by association or some people just want to see it that way. The same logic used could be used against Hillary if a Prosecutor wanted to lean in that direction. Attorney General Session could seek indictments against Hillary for the same reason...Bill and She along with "other" could have conspired in the uranium deal against the U.S. In today's politically charged realm of reality this is not too far fetched.

Red will tell you that you don't have a clue about anything you post here. You don't have a clue as to why, or what, Trump has done or has not done with the so called "Russians Sanctions legislation." The only way you could possibly know that is to have talked with Trump or his Chief of Staff.Red will tell us.
George Papadoupolis was a low level adviser to people in the Trump Campaign (Manafoprt, et al) He was never "trumps adviser."
You are a hater, and that is all you do is hate, lie, and twist words. You have zero integrity and apparently the only way you can get get your jollies is by hurting your own country. You born are a kneeler that disses the anthem and pisses on the flag and our veterans. Agitate, agitate, agitate. lLast edited by RED; 10-30-2017, 01:41.Comment

Sam you're right, innocent until proven guilty.
Red your "Hater, Agitator" sermon is your other go-to move when real arguments escape you. There is no good reason for the Administration not implementing those sanctions yet, on a bill that Trump himself signed into law. You wonder why some suspect ulterior motives, some kind of corrupt dealings between Trump and Ivan, well inexplicable delays like this don't help. Just sayin'!Comment
