I've previously identified the #1 Worst, and it's none of the above (although I hate them all, too.) It's Clinton-supporter & Trump-basher George Bush; you know, the "mission accomplished" guy.Comment

I thought Martin Van Buren and Donald Trump were in the running?"The first gun that was fired at Fort Sumter sounded the death-knell of slavery. They who fired it were the greatest practical abolitionists this nation has produced." ~BG D. UllmanComment

Nope... Tricky Dick Nixon was the worst in our history... He gave us 50,000 dead in Vietnam... he gave us 18% inflation and 16% interest rates along with price freezes and wage controls straight out of the Socialist work book. His legacy is Jimmy Carter and the Clintons and he created the monster we now call "post" Mao Tse Tung China.
During his tenure the Chinese progressed from back yard smelters to the largest steel manufacturer in the world. His lack of understanding of Economics 101 is historic and is now being repeated by our current President with his mistaken beliefs in tariffs.
Just my $.02...Comment

National security? Who turned Iraq into the planet's most prolific breeding ground for terrorists? Who created the conditions for the birth of ISIS? None of the above. "Mission accomplished?" Well, I guess so, if the "mission" was establishment of a permanent US military presence in the Middle East.Comment
