Not saying I'm a Nixon fan but here are the stats.

A bit misleading in that before Johnson casualties were pretty small but during his 8 years in 8 we lost 35,000 KIA or about 4k/year. Nixon was in Jan 1969 to and 1974... about 5 years and lost 21,041 or an average of 4k/year. About the same percentage... and yet we are told that Nixon was winding the war down.

Either way both were bad, but LBJ was merely a fool that made stupid mistakes. Nixon was worse and drug the war out for political gain.

In the 5 years Johnson was in, realistically speaking, 1964-1968, there were 35,957 deaths or 7k per year.

Additionally, the statistics show who escalated and who deescalated the war.

You have a point. Perhaps Bush and Carter tie for 3rd place. Both had failed attempts in the middle East. #1 and #2 are somewhat the understatement of the year.

Here's another point I just heard about, the "Diversity Immigrant Visa program," which gives a visa preference to Turd Worlders because, obviously, the US is deficient in diversity--too damn many whites of European ancestry, in other words. Guess who came into this country legally under this program? (Hint--was born in Uzbekistan.)

Now, guess which POTUS signed this legislation into law with his full support & approval?
