    Splain this to me!!!

The Air Force Academy is going to play host to the NE Patriots??? I suppose they are going to help them diss the anthem, and piss on the flag. How does this make any sense?

Pats is something you give your doggie, and, if you are lucky your wife, but what does "pats," have to do with the U.S. Air Force helping the NFL spit on veterans?

That it's just a cell phone type of shorthand for Patriots. Something that I find objectionable. But the "patriots" probably don't even know what it means.

In New England the patriots have always been known as just the pats, just as the red sox are known as just the sox. It's a New England thing.

The Patriots will be practicing at the Air Force Academy for 3 days next week...that is all. I am sure they will be paying a large sum for the privilege. Their coach, Bellicheck, is a BIG supporter of the military ( his father was once the football coach at the Naval academy), and can probably cite facts that are not very well known

And whole team will kneel and disrespect the flag, country and veterans during the anthem and he'll just stand there looking dumb. They should change their name to the Traitors instead of Patriots. Screw the nfl .

Sixteen Patriots took a knee . The home crowd booed loudly. Management had something to say to the team. They haven't been kneeling since.
                  2016 Chicago Cubs. MLB Champions!

So they had to be told or threatened somehow not to
take a knee. F@%$ em Put the nfl out of business. They haven't played real football in over 40 years anyway.

Learned today that the Air Force Academy invited the team to use their field for three days, the team did NOT request the use.

"The special events group at the Air Force Academy had contacted the Patriots after seeing that the team had back-to-back road games in high altitude against the Broncos and Raiders (in Mexico), and inquired if they were interested in using their facilities. It wasn't until a few weeks later that the Patriots responded and decided to investigate the possibility further. They later committed".
