You may have an accidental point Dick about there being a deficit of brains on the GOP side in this race, even if you intended irony.

Someone tried to make it seem like the Post was paying for dirt, leaving robocalls of dubious production value on answering machines.

I tell ya, it gets odder by the day.

No accident at all. Even lil' ol' RED warned back at the time there was a reason Trump backed Strange. I also warned that Moore was an extremist and had a lot in common with the MO Republican that ran against Claire McCaskill for the Senate. Another case where the Repugs backed a guy that couldn't win and yet he would not step aside making McCaskill the shoe in for the seat. Mark the AL election up for the Dems... Had Strange been the nominee he may very well have lost the general election but it wouldn't have been a easy slam dunk.

I fear that you have confused irony with sarcasm.

The problem with irony is, not everybody gets it.

            Judge Moore :
Guilty or Not Guilty, I have an opinion... Old saying " One buzzard circling probably nothing dead or stinking, but if a dozen circling probably something dead an stinking". It appears to me there is a lot stink in the case of Judge Moore.

Agree, but the controversy is why are the buzzards just now circling 40 years after the road kill?

Allen your vote counts as you live in the state. What are your neighbors says about this? Our opinions really don't matter.

I'm glade the rest of the nation is watching and observing this election--it will probably be a trend for every Conservative Republican that runs for office from now on. If the tables were turned and the Republicans alleged a sex crime against a democrat there would be no media coverage and no stink would be made.

As far as Moore is concerned, some voters will no doubt stay at home but if you're a Republican and believe all these allocations that does not make you a fan of the opposition. Most if not everyone see's through this BS being pulled 4 weeks before the election. The lastest victim (the redhead) is shown reading what has been prepared for her about her attack next to Gloria Alfred as she wipes a tear from her dry face every so often. From what I hear there were no rape charges just female getting touched and Moore being rejected, something that's happened to all of us in our younger days. I don't see how Moore can prove he is innocent and don't see how the women can prove he is guilty w/o witness' and this should have been brought up 40 years ago if the charges are legitimate. A lot of preachers have come to Moore's defense. They see him for what he is now and not how he MAY have been decades ago.

The local news stations are all liberal, especially FOX in my area. 2 days ago they were stating that Jones (the democrat) had now pulled way ahead of Moore, now they are saying the polls are 50/50 so someone called BS on them. From all that we can gather very few voters will be swayed by all of this and realize that no matter what Moore said/says/did/didn't do he is the only choice and yes, we find him to be kooky as well--wish he would stop with the juvenile silly getups. That is NOT helping him.

What's interesting to me is the difference between Alabama and the rest of the national GOP on this one. Alabama is getting ready to have an election, let the voters decide, which strikes me as pretty sensible. Meanwhile the GOP Senators and Sean Hannity are trying to figure out what stratagem to use, even considering have the election pushed back or have Strange resign his seat. Something, anything, to get the result THEY want.
