I hope that he is a tenured professor because if he has tenure they can't fire him for saying or teaching controversial ideas. That, of course, is the original purpose of tenure. Of course it is now used to protect professors who are useless, obsolete or lazy or who want to do research instead of teach

It's so unfair that college students should actually have to WORK and STUDY. This is a 4 year excuse to drink, screw
around and dope their minds out -- all the time majoring in something useful like "primitive cultures" or "urban studies".

Then they wonder why they have to compete so hard to work for minimum wage and flip burgers when they graduate!
Also paying back (or not) those tough student loans!

Nobody wants to major in Engineering, Chemistry or something that requires WORK -- that wouldn't be any fun!

Actually there IS a way for kids to work their way through college -- it's called the GI Bill. I think we should do away with student loans -- which only encourage colleges to raise their prices -- and replace it with the GI Bill -- and a regular audit of any college that accepts GI Bill students.
