1. The "circular firing squad" was NOT invented by the poles. It was the soviets because it left no witnesses.

2. The democrats have been known to employ it- very sparingly, i.e., when all other attempts to cover someones misdeeds have failed. The republicans use it as the weapon of choice for anything the establishment deems unsavory- i.e., about anything someone outside of the establishment does.
