Stacked a lot of wood in 2016 that is seasoned now, so we're good to go.

I am some what confused by this map. Does it show the difference in expected temperatures in F. for the coming winter? If so I pulled this up.

"Vancouver: Annual Weather Averages. August is the hottest month in Vancouver with an average temperature of 18°C (64°F) and the coldest is January at 4°C (38°F)"

So this would mean that here in the Vancouver area they expect our average winter temperature to be 37.4 degrees F? rather than 38 degrees F.

        Thanks

When my ship was in Bremerton, WA, I drove up to Vancouver during a rare beautiful sunny day in the winter, @ Jan 1985.

It exceeded my already high expectations. Hopefully it hasn't changed much.

Same here. Something told me to accumulate as much wood as possible this summer.

Unfortunately the downtown core is a dump, the druggies run rampant, The rest is still nice though, come on back and get out into the bush.

IMHO, BC would be always be a great to visit. There was a lookout where the whole city of Vancouver could be seen, should have brought my camera.

Back in '85 a passport wasn't needed, although they kept me at the border for about an hour. I'm guessing to check if I was a deserter.

We were in Bremerton WA during the rainy season Dec thru Feb. There was moss growing in unshaded open areas.

Also I got a chance to drive around the Olympic national forest for a couple hours, again on a rare winter sunny day.
It was so green my eyes started to get sore.

That whole area of the continent was quite an experience.
