    Why am I not surprised?

The Democrats are grasping at straws, and have not yet learned that it is MUCH easier to tell the truth than to lie.

One of the women who accused Alabama Senate candidate Roy Moore of making advances on her when she was a teen and he a local prosecutor admitted Friday to writing part of the yearbook inscription she offered as proof, a new crack in her story that gives Moore an opening to attack her credibility.

You're kidding, right? Moore wrote the note and signed it. She added some annotations.

I mean, talk about an inability to see the forest for the trees. Let's try it another way. Let the man here who would let a 30 year old Roy Moore pull up into the driveway to take his 16-year-old daughter out on a date step forward and make himself known. And when they call for the man who would greet Mr. Moore with a shotgun and tell him to get the h*ll away from his daughter, you can look for me. Honestly, I don't know what makes some of you tick.

I'd forgotten what the note said but remembered it being something in the line of "best wishes". That Moore is some kind of badass. Maybe he is looking into the future of getting elected, switching party lines to become a democrat, becoming president then having countless affairs at the WH and who knows maybe even getting a BJ by a young intern in the oval office. He can only hope huh?

Moore said he always asked the parents permission to date younger girls. I believe the father said he didn't ask. So, does that mean Nelson sneeked out to date an older man because she knew her parents would stop her? Did she think, in her 16 year old mind, that she could handle herself in that kind of situation? What IS the situation?

IF what is aledged took place.... Only 3 people know what actually happened; Nelson, Moore and God.

Re: Moore. He may have done whatever it is he's accused of. He may not have done it. So what? Or, to quote an authority on such things, "What does it matter?" It was not a concern when women accused bill clinton of assault, etc., etc. The left-wing liberal demokrats and the feminist groups all supported clinton and they all decried the accusations of the various women who said clinton assaulted them. Now that the left-wing demokrats are desperate to gain a senate seat, and now that they think to use sex accusations to try to defeat Moore, it does beg the question, "What does it matter?" Really. What does it matter. It didn't matter when the demokrats had clinton in the white house signing the junk bills they wanted signed. It didn't matter at all. So, now, just exactly why does it matter? JMHO. Sincerely. bruce.

The bigger deal that the media has failed to mention is the connection that Moore was the presiding judge in her divorce case and Moore found against her.

No one sees any cause for motivation in that?

If she had been so upset by him when she was 16 wouldn't she have brought that up immediately at the close of her divorce settlement and moved for mistrial on the grounds the judge was biased against her.

The real shame of this is that this damages the credibility of real victims of abuse and the people involved know it but they don't care as long as they get their scalp.
