How about those Dwarfs and Snow White - Menage a huit ?
Or Prince Charming fondling Cinderella's feet ?

The world has changed in the last 25 years. A lot of really unacceptable things that went on in offices then would not be tolerated now, even though they were once often ignored. The problem is that we (or at least the media and the politicians) are looking backwards and applying today's morality to yesterday's behavior and society's then tacit acceptance of that behavior. It's an easy hit to criticize one of today's celebrities for his behavior 10 years ago - but where do you stop? What about historical figures? Take Thomas Jefferson for example, a man considered to be one of the most brilliant and enlightened of his age. He is known to have fathered several children with his wife's slave (who also happened to be her half sister, being the daughter of one of her father's slaves). Those were extreme examples of sexual abuse. Should Jefferson now be expunged from the history books?

Re: Jefferson expunged. The role of the Founding Fathers is greatly reduced in common history courses even at the survey level in college. Of course the big issue is his and their positions on the COTUS, etc. When convenient, a quote or two from these men is taken out like a sausage casing ... the skin of the truth that is then stuffed with a lie ... i.e., whatever political/social agenda the left is pushing. JMHO. Sincerely. bruce.

This is just an Allegation, on the other hand she might be a big fat liar, i wonder why no one is considering that fact. she might just be a shake down. Larry King is a good guy and 100's of women would fight to get their a** smacked by him. Women this age are they problem.

you meet a woman and ask her, HOW WOULD YOU LIKE A MAN TO SEXUALLY APPROACH YOU ?

Woman: i want him to take charge and be rough.....bla bla bla ....

and then years later its sexual abuse. COME ON.

I think part of the problem is biology has not changed but society has. As family sizes have fallen there are fewer guys who grew up around enough girls, from childhood, to clearly read female behavior. Bruce may have his opinions.

There is a difference between abuse and consensual. Sally Hemming's and Jefferson loved each other, according to history. Her descendants certainly do not consider it as 'abuse'! Even in Moore's case, 30-40 years ago marriage of teen girls to older men was not uncommon in the South, nor was "dating".

You know, that's a really interesting point! Nothing like having sisters keeping a boy in line from a young age to teach him how to treat women.

Conversely all these accusations of groping involve prominent men-who've probably made lots of enemies. And an Ohio Congresswoman upset a lot of her fellow caucus members when she noted that women often dress provocatively and inappropriately and perhaps it's time for Congress to have a dress code.
