    Big day in AL.

Tomorrow we will find out who is going to replace Sessions. It will either be a Bible thumping extremist, Roy Moore, or a yellow dog, Knee taking, Socialist Democrat. A choice Alabama voters would not have to make had they paid attention to the President. Either way Alabama and America will be the losers.

Maybe with this loss those in power will now turn to the nation's business. Don't reinforce a failure, move on!

Instead, that gives the democrats more power and they are going full force to try to unseat Trump now since their propaganda worked so well on Moore. McConnell and the swamp are the one's who got Trump to endorse Moore's run off candidate Luther Strange (a red flag in it's self) and was going to have a special meeting this morning to discuss the "problem" of what to do about Moore (should he have won). The GOP got the candidate they wanted and the senate is now 51-49 and half the 51 are democrats. According to the news overall voter turnout was low except for the blacks and that is what caused the unexpected upset. Not voting and write-in voting is the same as voting for the opponent too.

Expect every election from now on to become a circus like this one till the democrats gain a majority or the conservatives learn how to fight back.

This position is only good for 2 years (to finish Sessions original term) and Fox has said that Doug Jones will probably be a lame duck democrat. The GOP has 2 years to come up with someone electable preferably someone Teflon cause the sht will be slung then too.

Well Allen it looks like the sun came up on schedule in the Mobile area.

The thing about the "swamp" reference is that the swamp changes from issue to issue. For example, the tax bill that is about to pass. The big winners are high rollers on Wall Street and in commercial real estate. The obvious losers are anyone who hoped there might be funds for infrastructure next year. Or I guess maybe we follow the Russian model and privatize our roads and bridges to a well-connected group of oligarchs. But if I look at all of this and think it's a bad idea then does that put me in your swamp?

This will be the road map the 'Rats will employ from now on. Create a fictitious non-issue and press on. Moore should have been challenged in the primary on his record.

WRONG. I just don't see the need to discuss things with you.

Only a liberal would be against tax reductions.

Well if tax reductions mean that busted up roads go unfixed or training budgets get slashed for the military (they always take shortfalls out of the manpower side first), or anti-terrorism, or heck, even border security, or some of the cool stuff like probes on Mars or necessary stuff like weather satellites, or, of possible interest to someone who lives on the Gulf coast, flood insurance and disaster relief, so that people sitting on a lot of cash can sit on even more cash, then yeah, call me someone who doubts the automatic wisdom of tax reductions.

Or maybe you're one of those who dreams of living in a land where there is no public sector at all, and everything is for sale to the highest bidder, where every need known to man is someone else's profit opportunity. If that's what you hope for then I hope you're sitting on a large stack yourself because in a land like that the person with the most gold always wins.

We pay taxes and we pay plenty of taxes. How it is spent we have no control over. As far as highway taxes go a portion of all gasoline sales go toward that along with our car tags and what is sectioned out of state and fed taxes. Property tax? I haven't heard a reasonable explanation yet to why we pay and where it goes.
It doesn't matter what needs to be done whether it is repairing or building new roads or bridges the government always says there's no money for that, giving them an excuse to raise taxes and not reveal where the already paid in money went. Foreign aid and welfare? Never a comment--the money is always there and these bottomless pits get their's first.

Allen, you are putting up a good fight., Unfortunately The Three Stooges + Shemp are either too stupid to know what they are doing or do know they are hurting America and are intentionally doing it. Just like the NFL kneelers, there is not one person on earth that is better off for what they are doing. Kepperdick and his bunch of idiots have ruined the NFL just as the Stooges have done here.

If higher taxes mean better roads, schools, terrific public services then states like New Jersey and New York would be the ones everyone is moving to.
