Does the GOP want to lose the Senate ? ...

Heard this thought posited last night on the
Hannity show by a Woman whose name I don't
recall.
Kind of took me by surprise, but after thinking
about it, maybe not so far-fetched after all.
The Swamp section of the Senate are really
violently anti Trump but might fear the voters
if they display their opposition too much and
too often, but if the Democrats were to take
over the Senate, then they could take over
the opposing and leave the Swamps hands clean.
Not so hard to imagine really when you consider
just how corrupt and mercenary these people are.

Cant put a swamp in place, where a swamp currently occupies. Trumptastics should have studied physics a bit better.

It is easier to be the minority and just keep losing than be the majority and have to actually put together a coherent proposed piece of legislation. Plus by being the minority, the RINOS can sponsor legislation the 'Rats are unwilling to but want to pass to appease some donors. Yup, they may want to lose.

both the republicans and democraps are hell bent on alienating the people they are supposed to serve. none of them after only 1 year grasp that is why Trump was elected as president.

Going to write something that even Red might agree with. Say what you will about the "swamp", aka "the establishment", it is also true that the base has made some blunders. Think Todd Akin and Richard Mourdock in 2012 and Sharron Angle, Christine O’Donnell and Ken Buck in 2010. If not for these candidates, Republicans might have somewhere in the neighborhood of 55 Senate seats instead of being down to 51. The people who insist on pure strains of right wing ideology can seldom expect see their legislative dreams come true.

Good point. I got a phone call tonight from somebody claiming they were calling on behalf of the Republican Central Committee. I replied, "That's fine except I am no longer a Republican... I am a Trumpster. McCain, McConnel, Graham, Ryan, and etc, all claim to be Republicans when instead, they are liars, cheats, scam artists, and low life denizens of the swamp. If they had listened to Trump, the Alabama Senate seat would not have gone to a Dimocrat... good bye."
