Back to the OP: if what is written turns out to be true, then surely it will become widely known and we will all read all about it, for a giant claim it is. More likely than not I believe it will prove to be a fart...not in the wind (we should be so lucky), but rather in the bubble where Red resides, where it will linger and grow stale.

Therin is the problem. You have never, even for a nanosecond, thought you could possibly be wrong. Actually 90% of your observations and opinions have been factually wrong. You claimed Trump could never be nominated, you were absolutely sure he could never become President, you were 100% sure the Russians hijacked the election, you were sure Sessions would quit. You were positively, absolutely, sure Tillerson would quit, etc., etc.

That's Fox's take on it...a network whose opinion people toil nightly to convince their audience that everything is just fine on Pennsylvania Avenue. If you ask the Clinton people, Comey's big nothing-burger a week before the election about the Weiner computer threw the election to Trump.

The trouble, my friend (may I call you that?) seems to be that your sense of proportion has deserted you. You have a guilty plea from a senior guy in the Trump camp, with a pledge to cooperate in further investigation as just one of the fruits of the Mueller investigation so far. Most people regard that as proof that there is some rottenness that needs sunlight--at a minimum. To you that is an extraneous sideshow. But an FBI agent gets caught putting his feelings down in a private text, and that is proof of some vast conspiracy against your man!

By your logic if we search the texts of every FBI agent and can find some derogatory of Clinton (what are the odds?) that should prove a conspiracy against Hillary. Right? By your logic.

Most people but not you are sensible enough to understand the difference between Clinton and Trump right now. Clinton has no power in government and has already been put through the investigative wringer many times. What they found was someone who flouted rules but apparently didn't do anything to intentionally harm the United States. That's not just my opinion, it's also the DOJ's, under Obama and Trump both.

Trump by contrast has enormous power and there is more than anecdotal evidence that he is using and abusing that power for private gain and for motives that are both dubious and hidden. Not all of it will be revealed through Mueller. But because Trump has the power of his office, it is clearly the more salient task to get to the bottom of his motivations. So Mueller has a job to do and the people want him to do it.

I mean, for you to insist that they investigate Hillary yet again, and investigate Trump...never...is incontrovertible evidence of your Kool-aid consumption. As if your orange-stained lips weren't proof enough.
