    Ignore list

Just a reminder for any of you who may not know of the link and are tired of seeing liberal anti-America sentiments blasted here on this forum.

This is a great tool that I put off using for way too long. I now use it and find this to be an enjoyable site once again. I encourage everyone to use it.

After logging on look at the top right corner in the dark green section. Look 3 spaces across to the right of your user name and select "settings". Scroll down on the left side of the page till you see "edit ignore list" select this and type in your choice of those you don't wish to see idiotic comments from. If you chose the 4 stooges remember they will add other user names that will need to be added to the list as well when that time comes.

So simple a democrat could do it.

I have been using the Ignore feature for some time and recommend it highly. It is a great way to avoid reading the nonsense posted by the left wing trolls on this board.

Any way to tell if you are on someone's list?

            Enjoy the bubble.

Thankfully the Russian trolls have taken a break.

What is it needed for? I know who they are, I can just ignore them. I thought is was just the libs who needed a "safe space" to hide from all that 'bad' talk. I like to know how the other guy thinks, don't have to agree with it, sometimes get a laugh, they do not scare me, I'm brave! hehehe!
You can never go home again.

You know dog crap exist but wouldn't you rather not see it? I know how they think and they don't belong on a forum like this.

Pat could probably tell you but don't know if she would chose to give out that info. The way I see it if I'm on someone's list then great. It would no doubt be from someone I'd rather not hear from in the first place.

Only two users ever made it on to my ignore list. Both just flat out bad mouthing trouble makers looking for a fight. Those two are useless POS and their postings were distracting. Anyone else is fine by me. After all it's only the internet and I hope I'm not so thin skinned that I would ever quiver at a keyboard commando's whims. Their lives totally suck. Not mine....well, maybe not so much.

Never have put anyone on a ignore list. From my perspective, it'd be like saying they were tough and I couldn't take it. Never have been willing to do that. I don't have to like everything everyone posts. Fact is, I never have and I never will. It is just normal for all of us to not always get along, some more so than others. For my part, I prefer to look for the best in folks, even the ones who at first glance and second and third glance look like someone who just likes to disagree/fight for no other reason than to disagree/fight. If they get loud, ugly ... I can take it. And, after turning the other cheek, I can if I choose reply. After all, if you turn the other cheek, well ... you run out of cheeks ... guess it's time to use other methods. JMHO. Sincerely. bruce.

No one likes everyone, and everyone dislikes someone, so
if this nonsense catches on, there'll be no one left on the forum.

AND, if you can't handle opposing views then join the liberals,
they're good at shutting people up.

the few nasty people on the forum have driven away a lot of folks already.

I have not been on this forum lately because I have been lurking on arfcom general discussion. You are all a bunch of nuns compared to the comments you read there. Putting someone on an ignore list because they say "hurtful" things is ridiculous.

oh yeah, and arfcom used to be way way worse than it is now.

Actually I may be wrong. The insults on this forum are much more personal and attack the character of a person. Arfcom is more of the playground "your momma wears army boots" type of insult. Sadly, if this continues here I predict the demise of Jouster within the year.
