    Bad Cops

    In Charleston WV cops were called for a shoplifting @ K-Mart. A 15 year old male had taken a stocking and a toboggan so that his little sister could have something. Rather then arrest/cite the boy was taken back to K-mart and things were worked out. The boy apologized, he got a lecture on right and wrong with a handshake. The two cops then bought the items for the boy to take home for his little sister. Not all cops do the wrong thing. MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL!

      just like every other cross section of people, there are good cops, bad cops, great cops, and absolutely horrible ones. the bad ones should definately be weeded out better than they are, but thankfully there are good ones too!

              RIGHT!!! The officers I know are the kind of men who would do exactly the same thing. They pick up the phone to let me know of situations where my church and I can help to meet human need. They are not extremists as police officers are so often characterized in the media.                   it happens a lot more than you think. In the last week I saw officers pull what cash they had out and give a young mother that needed gas money. Last night I saw officers collect money for an arrestee that got O.R bonded but had no one to pick her up and had no money for a cab. They pooled enough moneyfor her cab ride home and she did not live close.

                          actually, it does make it on many news channels when a cop helps someone in need. not often but i have seen it.
