I don't quite understand the graphic. Does it mean that .45 caliber firearms are prohibited? or is it something entirely different? At first glance I thought that it was a variation on a swastika

It's the NO 45 sign meaning No 45th POTUS as in Trump. The resemblance to the swastika is definitely intentional.

Shouldn't a protest sign be readily understandable ?
That sign could mean (as noted) 45 speed limit or 45 caliber limit
or no swastikas sign.
All it actually is, is stupid.

Actually Trump is our 44th president. Obama makes that claim but he never showed proof of citizenship, college transcripts that would prove him to be a foreign exchange student, where his money came from or who was behind placing him in office.

Racism is in the eye of the beholder, and you beheld it all to easily.
But if you're looking into every crevice for it, you'll either find it, or imagine it.

National Socialists will scream racist, sexist and so forth. Obama's background is cloudy to say the least. Why use an alias? Why are Barry's college records unavailable, the only birth certificate I have seen is a 2012 dated one. I have a copy of my original birth certificate in my wallet and can produce on a moments notice, why won't he?

If speaking out against the worse president ever (and probably illegal) is racist because he is black then speaking out against people such as Trump, Hillary, Schumer and McCain is also racist. Remember, white is a race also. It has become a term that cowards use to defend themselves in an argument and so misused and abused that it has become practically irrelevant.

What "credential" are they lacking? This kind of language goes straight back to the days of literacy tests and other devices to decide who gets to participate in our political process and who doesn't. How many people have been turned away from the polling place for insufficient credentials? The idea is very old, and very much alive. Anyhow, the caption suggests that "some people" have no business being in the White House, that they are inferior for the place. As it happens, that idea that some people are inferior to others was very much a part of the thinking of the Swastika People. So when other people notice this and render "45" in a swastika style as a protest symbol, their reasoning is straightforward.
