I was quite surprised to see the emblem of the early NAZI party being taken up by the American Version of National Socialism. Apparently the reason is that if it worked once perhaps it will work again. The National Socialism American Workers Party is using the old playbook of Dr. Goebbels to paint any opponent that the National Socialists see fit. Unless one remembers the past America will repeat the mistakes of NAZI Germany by following those of the new NSAWP. The National Socialists want to regain status and further their leftist ideas and accumulate power and wealth for their chosen few.

This kind of language goes straight back to the days of literacy tests and other devices to decide who gets to participate in our political process and who doesn't.

Ah yes, the bad old days when it was foolishly believed that an "informed electorate" was essential to the proper functioning of a responsible democracy--when (can you believe it?) there was an attempt to distinguish our form of gov't from mob rule!

If the tests were sometimes administered unfairly, as they no doubt were, that was obviously wrong--but that wrong doesn't negate the beneficial purpose of the tests.

You are jousting with windmills. Just because a person is not a citizen, does not speak English, cannot read or write, does not know the the names or the stances of the candidates, does not understand the issues on the ballot, and does not know the name of the country where he is living, there is no reason he should not vote. His ballot is as important as yours... actually more important. if there weren't people like that that vote by the millions, none of the Three Stooges + Shemp's candidate would ever win an election.

Togor, I didn't see anything racist about it. We don't like the Obamas for WHO they are. Period. We don't like the Clintons for WHO they are. We don't like Kim Jong-un for WHO he is. Shall I keep going? Wait a minute...We didn't like Hugo Chavez or Saddam Hussein for WHO they were.
Now, if you saw a Black person being insulted due to WHAT they look like, then you missed the gist of Allen's meme. You don't seem like the type who plays the race card but this time you did. (Devil's advocate! )

The number of illegals who'd dare to risk a run-in with the law by voting is too small to be of any importance. What "credential" are they lacking? How many people have been turned away from the polling place for insufficient credentials? The idea is very old, and very much alive. Anyhow, the caption suggests that "some people" have no business being in the White House, that they are inferior for the place. As it happens, that idea that some people are inferior to others was very much a part of the thinking of the Swastika People. So when other people notice this and render "45" in a swastika style as a protest symbol, their reasoning is straightforward.

ahh but when the same is said of white people it somehow isnt racist. i find it funny that racism is the first thing that jumps to mind, instead of maybe obamma only had a half term as a senator, no business experience to speak of, nor any other real world qualification, yet you jump for racist!

I didn't dislike Barry, I disliked what he stands for. Why was he compelled to change his Christian name to Moslem, why are his college records sealed, his past history "clouded". His ideations "odd" to say the least...his clunkers idea to help the economy, letting "men" who identify as female let into women's restrooms, you get the idea [I hope].

Why stop the clock on his qualifications before his first day on the job? He held the office for eight years. People talk about Trump or Bush growing into the job but Obama can't?

Disliking Obama does not make someone a racist. Claiming however that in eight years on the job he was wholly unqualified and didn't do one single thing of consequence correctly does point to some kind of extreme visceral bias against the guy. I start at race because it is the most obvious trigger. Graphics like Allen's use the coded language of the past. By coincidence?

Did Obama do nothing but paint the X-ring in his years in office? Of course not. But did he draw Maggie's Drawers every single time as this board wants to insist? I say no. The world doesn't work that way.
