Girl beats boy in wrestle of the sexes ...

How shaming must it be for a fellah to have the crap beaten out of him by a girl ?
Not that there aren't some strong girlies around - I probably wouldn't stand a
chance in a fight with Serena Williams or Xena the Warrior Princess, but I know
I could beat the crap out Twiggy.

A high school wrestler on Long Island fought extra hard to get on the team, and is now proving to be just as tough as the rest of them on the mat -- even better.

Wrestling has a lot less to do with strength than people imagine. Speed, agility, leverage, and the ability to think quickly are more important than strength.
I dream of a better world. One where chickens may cross the road without their motives being questioned.

If she ever becomes someone important that could later be considered sexual harassment.

We have a high school senior here in the area who wrestles with no legs from just above the knees. Had the opportunity to watch him wrestle while he was a freshman and sophomore in regional tournaments. Many of the wrestlers were intimidated at first, afraid they might hurt him until they observed him winning match after match. Story has him listed as a double amputee; however, he was born that way.
